Teaching Interactions (TI), combined with Discrete Trial Training, is a very effective and useful instructional method for teaching social skills to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. It involves social as well as communication interchanges between the teacher and learner. The workshop will include detailed explanation of the Teaching Interaction procedure. Videos will also be shown to demonstrate how to apply this procedure in different teaching settings ranging from one-on-one instruction to large groups.
