Limited Capacity filling up

The workshop will present information about best practices for teaching students with mild, moderate,and severe cognitive disabilities, including autism. The session will give an overview of functional curriculum as well as organizational strategies that increase student learning. Instructional strategies utilizing ABA principals will be discussed. Data tracking systems that are designed to determine Present Levels of Performance and track individual student's progress will be introduced.

SENIA Board Member - Singapore American School
Karli Koning is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and special educator with experience in low-income, international, and metropolitan communities. Her area of expertise is creating programs for students with behavioral needs, training staff, and aiding as a consultant for school-wide programming. She currently works at Singapore American School as a behavioral specialist and early interventionist.
