The workshop will share research around effectiveness of PLCs or TLCs in schools as a method for developing teacher expertise and as a foundation for professional collaborative dialogue in school. In particular the focus will be on how schools rich in professional dialogue are places where SEN students thrive. My experience of setting up PLCs in 3 different schools will be shared.
