The first part of this workshop will be a video presentation and talk prepared by members of SENIA Manila's Youth Group. The group is composed of high school and college students from seven different local and international schools in Metro Manila. In their video, the group will share personal insights into how teachers can help students with different special needs learn in their classrooms, as well as why they've chosen to advocate for other students. The second part of this workshop will be focused on 1) how to start a youth group within local SENIA Chapters; 2) the benefits and challenges of starting and maintaining an active youth group; and 3) potential youth group activities and advocacy projects or initiatives.
