People on the autism spectrum often perceive, process, and communicate differently. Through activities and discussion focused on developing greater understanding of autism, participants come away with practical solutions for empowering individuals with autism achieve greater success at home, in education, employment, relationships, in the community, and other aspects of life. 
Participants shall be able to… 
1. experience aspects of what it is like to be on the autism spectrum.
2. describe 2 or more differences in how people with autism interact with their environment.
3. list at least 3 environmental modifications or accommodations empowering individuals with autism achieve greater success in school, home, employment, and other aspects of life.
4. learn about resources and assessments for planning supports for individuals with sensory challenges.
