First started teaching as an Assistant Language Teacher in the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program, then taught ESOL at the University of Northern British Columbia in B.C., Canada. Moved to New York City and taught in a transfer high school, graduated from the City College of New York in 2010 with a Master's degree in Special Education. Former New York City Teaching Fellow and Americorp Award recipient. Previously MYP Learning Support Coordinator at Copenhagen International School, and currently the Learning Support Coordinator at Canadian Academy in Kobe, Japan.
