Ms. Oehlers-Jaen is the Head of DAS International Services Ltd and a Senior Educational Therapist. She is also the  Programme Director for Maths, Psychological Assessments and Specialist tutoring under the Specialised Educational Services division of the Dyslexia Association of Singapore. At the same time she is part of the General Management Team at the Dyslexia Association  of Singapore.  She holds a Masters Degree in Special Needs from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), BA( English Language and Literature) from SIM,  a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from the London Metropolitan University as well as a Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (Dyslexia), along with Early Childhood Diplomas. She has Fellow status at RETA ( Registrar of Educational Therapists (Asia) and is also a Senior Educational Therapist.  Ms. Oehlers-Jaen is actively involved in research and programme evaluation and has presented at conferences.  Along with her colleagues in the Maths team which she leads, they have published in the Asean Pacific Journal of Developmental Differences (APJDD 2015) a research entitled "Evaluating the progress of dyslexic children on a small-group maths intervention programme" by Rebecca et, al. Ms. Oehlers-Jaen understands that practice and research go hand in hand and sharing of information is important with others.
